No, the scan is painless. A warm, water-based gel is applied to your skin, and a small probe is gently moved over the area. You may feel slight pressure from the probe.
How long does the appointment take?
Your appointment typically takes around 30-40 minutes, including time for preparation and the scan itself. We aim for same-day or next-day appointments to minimise waiting times.
When will I get my results?
Your scan images will be reviewed by a UK-certified Consultant Radiologist, and you will receive your detailed report within 3 working days via your secure online patient portal. You can view, download, and share these results.
How quickly can I get a scan?
