How long does an ankle ultrasound take?
The scan itself typically takes around 15-20 minutes. Your appointment will be longer to allow for check-in and any questions you may have.
What happens after my ankle ultrasound?
Your scan images will be reviewed by a UK-certified Consultant Radiologist. You will receive access to your secure online patient portal within 72 hours, containing your images and report. You can share these with your GP or any other clinician.
How quickly can I get a scan?
