Heart blood tests look at things like your cholesterol and other fats in your blood. Some panels also check markers linked to the health of your heart and blood vessels. They give a picture of your risk, not a diagnosis.
You might book one because heart disease runs in the family, because your cholesterol is already being watched, or simply to check where you stand. Others book before starting a new fitness plan.
On the day, a small blood sample is taken at our Dartford clinic. Your results are reviewed by a clinician, and if you would like to talk them through, a GP consultation is available as a separate service.

What does a heart blood test actually look at?
It looks at cholesterol, other fats in your blood and related markers that are linked with heart risk. It gives useful information about your risk. It cannot diagnose heart disease.
Do I need to fast before the test?
It depends on the test you book. Some ask you to avoid food beforehand and some do not. Please check when you book, online, by phone on 0800 151 2227, or on WhatsApp.
How much is it, and can I cancel?
The price is fixed and shown in full before you book, with no hidden fees. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your appointment.
