What is the Heart Health blood test?
Our private Heart Health blood test is designed to give you a clearer picture of your cardiovascular wellbeing. You can book this test directly online, without needing a GP referral, for a one-off payment of £90.
This specialised panel measures key markers related to cholesterol and lipids, helping to provide insight into your cardiovascular risk. It's important to remember that this test measures specific biological markers; a clinician is needed to interpret these findings in the context of your overall health.
Your small blood sample will be taken at our clinic in Dartford, Kent, and sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for processing. You'll receive your results, reviewed by a clinician, in your secure online portal within 2–5 working days. You can choose to share these with your GP if you wish.

Do I need to fast before the Heart Health?
Yes — we recommend fasting for 8–10 hours beforehand (water is fine), as recent food and drink can affect cholesterol and glucose readings.

How is the blood sample taken?
A trained phlebotomist takes a small venous blood sample from your arm at our Kent clinic. It's quick and carried out in a private, comfortable setting.
What happens if a result is outside the normal range?
Any result outside the usual reference range is clearly highlighted in your report. A blood test doesn't diagnose on its own, so we recommend discussing flagged results with a clinician — you can add a GP consultation to talk them through.
Do I need a GP referral to book?
