Your small blood sample is taken at our clinic in Dartford, Kent, and then sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis. Yes — we recommend fasting for 8–10 hours beforehand (water is fine), as recent food and drink can affect cholesterol and glucose readings.

How is the blood sample taken?
A trained phlebotomist takes a small venous blood sample from your arm at our Kent clinic. It's quick and carried out in a private, comfortable setting.
What happens if a result is outside the normal range?
Any result outside the usual reference range is clearly highlighted in your report. A blood test doesn't diagnose on its own, so we recommend discussing flagged results with a clinician — you can add a GP consultation to talk them through.
Do I need a GP referral to book?
