Preparing for your Fertility Scan Ultrasound
On the day of your scan:
- Drink plenty of water about an hour before your appointment to ensure your bladder is full. This helps to lift the bowel away from the pelvic organs, providing a clearer view.
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
- Avoid eating for at least 4-6 hours before your scan if you are having an abdominal component, such as assessing the uterus or ovaries through the abdomen.
