How long does an MRI pelvis female scan take?
A typical MRI pelvis scan takes between 30 and 45 minutes. Our team will confirm the exact duration when you book.
Will I need contrast dye for my MRI pelvis scan?
Contrast dye (gadolinium) is not always necessary and is only used if your referring clinician or our radiologist deems it clinically required. If needed, it's an additional cost and requires clinical confirmation before booking.
Can I get my results straight away?
Your scan images will be available on your secure online portal within 3 working days. These are then reported on by a UK-certified Consultant Radiologist, and their detailed report will also be available on the portal.
Do I need a GP referral for an MRI pelvis scan?
No, a GP referral is not required. You can self-refer and book your private MRI pelvis scan directly with us at MyScanHub in Kent.
Do I need a GP referral?

Our imaging centre is at Bluewater Shopping Centre, Dartford, Kent (DA9 9ST), in the Guildhall Outer Car Park — free parking, a few minutes from junction 2 of the M25 and the A2. We're open Monday to Saturday 8am–9pm and Sunday 10am–5pm. Full directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
