Can I have a contrast agent for my pituitary scan?
A gadolinium contrast agent can be used to enhance the visibility of certain structures, particularly if a lesion is suspected. This is an optional add-on, costing an additional £120, and requires clinical confirmation of its necessity before booking.
Do I need a GP referral for a pituitary MRI?
